How can I make sure the Rive expert has the right skills?
Look at their past work and examples. Ask for a portfolio that shows animations and designs they made using Rive. Look for a style that matches what you want for your project.
What should I include in the project brief for a Rive expert?
Be clear about what you need, like animations for an app or game graphics. Describe your project's goals and any specific animations you like. The clearer you are, the easier it is for the expert to understand what you want.
How do I decide on the project timeline with the Rive expert?
Discuss the project's scope and set realistic deadlines. Break down the project into smaller tasks with dates for each part. This helps both you and the expert stay on track.
What should I ask about their experience with interactive animations?
Ask about their work with interactive projects using Rive. Find out if they have created animations that users can control or respond to. This experience is important if you want a project that's fun and engaging.
How do we agree on the style and look of the project?
Share examples of animations or designs you like. Talk about colors, shapes, and the overall feel you want. This helps the Rive expert create something you love.
What should I consider when discussing feedback and revisions?
Set up a process for giving feedback, like meeting once a week. Decide on how many changes can be made without extra costs. This keeps the project moving smoothly and everyone happy.
How do I ensure effective collaboration with a remote Rive expert?
Use tools that let you share files and messages easily. Agree on how you will communicate, like through chat or video calls. Being able to talk openly helps the project succeed faster.
What should I know about ensuring consistent quality in the project?
Discuss what 'quality' means for the project. This may include smooth animations and consistent design across all devices. Checking in regularly ensures everything is up to your standards.
How can I set clear expectations for the deliverables with the Rive expert?
List all the items you expect from the project, like specific number of animations. Agree on the format for each deliverable, such as a specific file type. This way, both you and the expert know exactly what's needed.
