Chronic illness has already stolen enough of your life. It doesn’t need your social calendar too. This is Plan-ISH, my submission for the @Base44 Challenge on @Contra. A FREE app for people with an invisible chronic illness who are sick of choosing between having a life and spending the next week recovering from it. I built it with Base44, step by step: design, planner, automations and voice. I’m living this myself. I know what it’s like to want to do something completely normal, like a dinner, a wedding or Christmas, and first have to calculate whether my body can handle it. Sometimes you just stop making plans. Not because you don’t want to go, but because the aftermath feels like too much. Sometimes I just want to go to a bloody dinner and have a good time. So I built Plan-ISH. What it does: ➔ Plans the days before, the event itself and your recovery afterwards, around the energy you actually have ➔ Helps you ask for what you need, and writes the awkward message to the host ➔ Works with your voice, because some days typing is an Olympic sport ➔ Turns your symptoms into one clear page for your doctor ➔ Sends reminders and check-ins on its own ➔ Has a low-light mode for migraine days, and comebacks for every “but you don’t look sick” Will it guarantee you won’t have a flare-up? Absolutely f*cking not. But it can help you prepare better, respect your limits and actually enjoy the things you love. We deserve more than managing our illnesses. We deserve to live.

This project was a true transformation from start to finish. What started as an existing Kajabi setup quickly turned into a complete rebrand. Everything changed: → The website design → The course experience → The pricing structure → The email sequences → The fonts and branding → The overall customer journey Projects like these remind me that Kajabi isn't just about setting up pages and automations. It's about creating an experience that reflects the business today, not the business it was years ago. There's something incredibly rewarding about taking an outdated setup and turning it into a brand that feels fresh, aligned, and ready for growth. The best part? Seeing all the individual pieces come together into one seamless experience for both the business owner and their students. These are the kinds of projects I absolutely love working on.

It’s always fun working on a course project when you don’t speak the language. One minute you’re building automations, designing pages, and setting up the entire student experience. The next, you’re copying text into Google Translate to figure out what that section of copy actually says. Thankfully, Google Translate exists. Working with international clients is one of the things I love most about what I do. Even when there’s a language barrier, great course design, smart systems, and a little creativity go a long way. And let’s be honest, there’s something satisfying about seeing a complete course come together, even when you can’t read half the content without a translation tool. The language may be different, but the goal is always the same: creating a seamless learning experience for students. Anyone else ever found themselves building a website, course, or funnel in a language they don’t speak?

Cinematic Framer Website Design & Development for via

Picture this: An early stage dating app on a mission to connect people through third places has a tight startup budget, an undefined visual identity, and a venture capital pitch deadline in 3 weeks. That’s the situation I stepped into when I partnered with Via to design and build their first website. I partnered with Via to craft a website and brand identity that balances a cinematic, wistful feeling reminiscent of your favorite rom coms with a tech-forward experience sure to capture the attention of any investor.

Every freelance designer knows this brief. Two budgets in the same email. A deadline that is "January, maybe February". Two founders who disagree about the logo. And somewhere in the middle: "can we make the cancel button harder to find?" Most of us price it anyway. I have. It rarely ends well. So for the #Base44Challenge (https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/all/?keywords=%23base44challenge&origin=HASH_TAG_FROM_FEED) I built Flowstate. You paste a messy client brief, and Flowstate: → separates what the client actually said from what is only a guess, with the exact quote next to every fact → names the gaps and the risks, including the ones nobody wants to say out loud → drafts the questions to send first → turns the answers into a scope and a proposal you can edit line by line Three rules I didn't want to break: 1️⃣ Nothing invented. If the AI can't find the sentence behind a fact, it tells you. 2️⃣ Questions before price. A proposal stays a draft until the critical questions are answered. 3️⃣ You approve everything. Nothing is sent on your behalf. My favorite moment while testing: it flagged the hidden cancel button as an ethical and legal risk. After the client's answer, the plan changed to a simple pause option instead. Sara (https://www.linkedin.com/in/saraesmaili/) and I built it from scratch in five days, on the free plan, with no backend. Most of the time didn't go into new screens. It went into making the AI honest and consistent with itself. Try the sample project here: https://lnkd.in/eed6Hurw (https://lnkd.in/eed6Hurw)Would love to hear how you deal with vague briefs today. #ProductDesign (https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/all/?keywords=%23productdesign&origin=HASH_TAG_FROM_FEED) #Freelance (https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/all/?keywords=%23freelance&origin=HASH_TAG_FROM_FEED)

At Bowlero, getting frontline workers to finish their training was a constant battle. So we made it a game. Quizzes, leaderboards, venue rivalries, real rewards. As Head of Product Design I led it hands-on, from employee interviews to the illustration style. The full case study is finally written up: Check it out (https://contra.com/p/63LLXLsq-goldfish-gamifying-retention-for-frontline-workers)
