Fire & Knives: Brand, Design System and Website

Fire & Knives is a screen-free outdoor adventure program for kids, built as a modern alternative to the scouts. I built the brand, the design system and the parent-facing website, all in August 2026.

Three ideas run the whole thing: The Cool Uncle, Danger Done Right, Confidence Earned. The palette is Safety Orange and Twilight Blue, with a warm secondary set and a charcoal-to-cream neutral range. The type pairs a custom display face with Bitter for headers and body.

A full set of components, an icon set, spot illustrations and named gradients, so every new page and flyer comes out looking like the same camp.

A landing page for parents that does the trust work first: what the program is, who runs it, and what a weekend looks like. The live Fire & Knives site is not this version yet.
