Cover image for I built a brand universe
I built a brand universe inspired by the vastness of space. This is the branding for BUSINESS CANVAS, a Korean B2B SaaS startup — also known as BCU (BUSINESS CANVAS Universe). If you’re interested in cosmic concepts, you’ll enjoy uncovering the hidden meanings and Easter eggs woven into the design. For the full version, check out the project on my profile (https://contra.com/_7ecfzm2p?referralExperimentNid=DEFAULT_REFERRAL_PROGRAM&referrerUsername=_7ecfzm2p)! 🌌

The Studio PLASTIC BAG website was inspired by an airport — a place where every journey begins. My identity, a plastic bag drifting in the wind, is about freedom, weightlessness, and not forcing direction. An airport felt like the right metaphor — a space of waiting, excitement, and possibility before taking off. I wanted the site to capture that feeling. Not just to show what I’ve made, but to tell why I make things — to remind myself that design isn’t just about form, but about meaning, timing, and the moments before something begins.

Cover image for Title sequence for LG U+'s
Title sequence for LG U+'s film program A title sequence for a film program built on one idea: you enjoy a movie more once you know its hidden stories. Our guide — equal parts film nerd and easygoing older brother — walks viewers through the small details that make movies more fun to watch. The animation follows the guide's gestures: as he moves, classic cinema icons — a trophy, a spotlight, a clapperboard, popcorn — appear and orbit around him, as if his knowledge itself is conjuring the visuals. It's a small piece of visual logic that reinforces the show's premise: the more you know, the richer the picture gets. Role: Concept, Character Design, Illustration, Animation (After Effects) Client: LG U+ Duration: 6s

Cover image for Documentary title sequence A title sequence
Documentary title sequence A title sequence for a documentary spotlighting women working in fields still assumed to be "men's work" — from aircraft pilots to industrial welders. The message is simple: skill has no gender, and these women are doing the work brilliantly. The direction leaned into speed and texture — fast, motion-blurred transitions cutting between figures, tied together by a single continuous line, with a raw brushstroke texture layered over a restrained monochrome blue palette. The pace was intentional: quick enough to feel unstoppable, but with enough detail in each character to let their craft register before the next cut. Role: Concept, Illustration, Animation (After Effects) Duration: 15s

Cover image for An educational animation introducing everyday
An educational animation introducing everyday inventions that turn hard-to-recycle materials into something new — reducing the waste that pollutes our planet, one small idea at a time. From candles that never run out to outlets that charge on sunlight, each invention is presented through clean, warm illustration designed to make sustainability feel intuitive and approachable — especially for young audiences. The goal was simple: show that caring for the earth doesn't require grand gestures, just clever, thoughtful design. Role: Illustration, Animation (After Effects) Format: Ultra-wide (2.6:1), designed for classroom/exhibition display Client: Chungbuk Provincial Office of Education

Cover image for Title sequence for "그곳에 사람이
Title sequence for "그곳에 사람이 있다" (There, Someone Is), a documentary series aired on EBS, South Korea's national educational broadcaster. Self-initiated concept, written and directed solo. This project started from a simple question: what would our everyday comfort look like if we could see the labor behind it? A clean street means someone swept it before dawn. Safe food on our doorstep during COVID meant a rider braved the cold to bring it. Rather than stating this directly, I chose to let it unfold through small, ordinary moments — a delivery rider, a caregiver, a family receiving a package — connected by a single warm, continuous path. Role: Concept & Direction, Illustration, Animation (After Effects) Broadcaster: EBS (Korea)
