I spearheaded the comprehensive design and mock-up initiative for Teknik Lighting, an Australian lighting company, achieving remarkable success within an expedited timeframe of just one week. The primary objective of this project was to develop an app which focused on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) to propel Teknik Lighting into the digital forefront.

Initiated with an in-depth analysis of user needs and preferences, crafting an app that offers a seamless and engaging experience. The UX design prioritised intuitive navigation, while the UI design focused on visual appeal.

The app showcases an extensive online catalogue, facilitating users in exploring Teknik Lighting’s diverse product range effortlessly. It also incorporates a user-friendly booking system for scheduling lighting consultations, ensuring a personalised experience. Additionally, an innovative “Recycled Lighting Pick Up” feature promotes sustainability.

The app includes a distinctive feature allowing users to request the pickup of recycled lighting fixtures. This aligns with Teknik Lighting’s commitment to sustainability, contributing to environmental conservation.

Conducted a thorough analysis of Teknik Lighting’s brand identity, target audience, and industry trends to inform the design process.

Developed a user-centric design with a focus on ease of navigation and aesthetic appeal. The UI design emphasizes intuitive interactions to ensure a positive user experience.

Implemented key features, such as an extensive online catalogue, a streamlined booking system for lighting consultations, and a user-friendly interface for requesting recycled lighting pick-ups.

Created detailed mock-ups and interactive prototypes to visualize the app’s design and functionality. This phase facilitated thorough testing and refinement. The app is currently in development.
