Lucky’s Café & Bakery | Brand Identity, Website + Print Design For Lucky’s Café & Bakery, I developed a complete brand identity inspired by Carolina kitchens, neighborhood cafés and slow mornings. The direction was warm and nostalgic while still feeling bold, editorial and modern. The identity centered on a custom wordmark, rich cream, brown and red color palette, expressive typography and a playful duck mascot featured with coffee and pastries. I extended the system across a custom website, menus, coffee cups, signage and other physical brand applications. My work included: • brand strategy and creative direction; • primary and secondary logo variations; • custom duck mascot illustrations; • color palette and typography system; • brand voice and supporting taglines; • responsive website design and development; • website copy and visual storytelling; • menu, coffee cup and signage design; • print-ready brand assets; • brand guidelines and mockups. The final system gave Lucky’s a recognizable personality and a cohesive experience across its digital, print and physical touchpoints.

UGC + Social Media Content | Beauty & Lifestyle For this collection, I created and curated social-first content centered around beauty, fashion and lifestyle products, including content featuring Glossier, Starface, BREAD Beauty Supply, Valentino Beauty and YSL Beauty. The work was developed to balance polished brand storytelling with the more natural, relatable quality of UGC. I created content across multiple formats and considered how individual assets could support organic social, product discovery, engagement and paid digital campaigns. My work included: • UGC concept development and creative direction; • short-form video for Reels and TikTok; • product-focused video content; • lifestyle and product photography; • unboxing and product discovery content; • in-store and experiential content capture; • social-first hooks and on-screen copy; • video editing, pacing and text overlays; • static social media content and graphics; • carousel and Story content; • launch and collaboration-focused content; • organic and paid social creative variations; • product styling and visual composition; • platform-specific content adaptation; • caption and CTA development; • content repurposing across digital platforms. The final body of work demonstrates my ability to take a product and build multiple pieces of social content around it while maintaining strong visual direction, platform awareness and a clear understanding of how people naturally discover and engage with products online.

Sunday & Co. | Social Media Content + Digital Marketing For Sunday & Co., I developed the agency’s ongoing social media and digital content system, translating the larger brand identity into a recognizable mix of video, graphics, campaigns and recurring content. The creative direction was built to feel editorial, warm and visually distinctive while still giving the content a clear marketing purpose. Rather than treating every post as a standalone asset, I developed recurring concepts and visual formats that could support brand awareness, service promotion, portfolio storytelling, community building, recruitment and client acquisition. My work included: • social media strategy and content planning; • development of content pillars and recurring series; • short-form video concepts for Reels and TikTok; • video filming and editing; • hooks, scripts and on-screen copy; • custom social media graphics; • carousel and static post design; • Sunday Service branded content; • Welcome to Our Table campaign content; • monthly roundup and educational content; • Join Our Table recruitment creative; • service and portfolio-focused content; • campaign concept development; • organic social content; • paid social and advertising creative; • promotional graphics and CTAs; • copywriting and caption development; • art direction and visual storytelling; • content repurposing across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn; • content calendar development; • performance review and ongoing content optimization. The result is a cohesive content ecosystem that gives Sunday & Co. a recognizable social presence while allowing the brand to move between education, personality, portfolio work, services and promotional content without losing its visual identity.

Shaded in the Clouds — Logo Design & Brand Identity For Shaded in the Clouds, I developed a complete visual identity designed to feel expressive, whimsical and creative while still remaining polished enough to grow with the brand. The identity centered around a custom wordmark and cloud motif, with extensive exploration of typography, shape, line weight, color and composition. From the primary logo, I expanded the direction into a flexible visual system that could remain recognizable across digital platforms, physical products and future brand applications. My work included: • logo concept development and refinement; • primary and secondary logo variations; • custom cloud and supporting brand marks; • color palette development; • typography selection and hierarchy; • alternate logo colorways; • visual direction and brand applications; • comprehensive brand guidelines and mockups. The final system gave Shaded in the Clouds a distinct visual personality while providing enough structure and flexibility for the identity to evolve across future touchpoints.

The Access, by design. initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to psychological literacy and responsible delivery. At the end of each quarter, we set aside capacity to offer a small number of structured sessions and resources to the community. These offerings are time-bound, application-based, and designed to provide clarity, skills, and orientation, not treatment or ongoing care. Participation is offered in exchange for reflective feedback, helping ensure the work remains grounded, useful, and ethically delivered.

It’s that time again! The U Health & Wellness Expo is back for 2026. Three days dedicated to knowledge, innovation, and meaningful health conversations across the Caribbean. Behind the scenes, the work spans programming, sponsor integration, audience engagement, and ensuring the experience reflects the same editorial standard that defines #U. Contributing at the intersection of content, brand, and partnership strategy remains one of the most meaningful parts of this build. As we prepare for this milestone year, sponsorship packages are officially open. The build begins now and you'll find pieces of me here.

Approaching five years as Editor-in-Chief of U The Caribbean Health Digest, and I’m sitting with a lot of gratitude. What began as a role has become a responsibility I deeply respect; shaping credible health conversations, guiding thoughtful storytelling, and protecting the integrity of information shared with our readers. It’s an honor to help steward a publication that continues to inform, challenge, and serve communities globally.

Partnered on the development of Heritage Petroleum’s ESG reporting to ensure the story matched the substance. This included organizing performance data, community engagement initiatives, and governance standards into a clear, disciplined publication that communicates not just activity, but intent. The final report positioned sustainability as embedded practice rather than surface messaging.

EYESEE Five essays, each built on a single line of Marcus Aurelius. The Meditations get quoted constantly and read almost never; EYESEE does the reverse — I take one passage at a time and work it until it says something precise about how we see, judge, and misread each other. The first essay sits with his image of the "diseased eye," the mind that flinches from whatever it's asked to look at squarely. An old text handled as a live argument, not a keepsake.

A Working Encyclopedia of Philosophers: Cicero Cicero was an outsider who argued his way to the top of a republic that didn't want him there, and died for backing the wrong side of its collapse. This is the whole arc — the rise as a "new man," the consulship, the fall — written from the primary sources and illustrated by hand, built so someone meeting him for the first time can follow the entire life in one sitting. It's the first entry in a working encyclopedia of philosophers: reference meant to be read, not just consulted.

The house always wins. One question: does the public's low opinion of Congress actually cost incumbents their seats? I built an interactive board across all 27 election cycles since 1972, toggling incumbent reelection against Gallup approval, every figure sourced. The result you can audit on one screen: House incumbents who ran won about 94% of the time while Congress sat near 28% approval.

Paper Cuts When a local newspaper closes, the damage doesn't announce itself — it shows up later, in the numbers. Paper Cuts is a console I built to make that visible: drag a newsroom from fully staffed to shuttered and watch a town's civic vital signs slide into the red — borrowing costs, contested ballots, split-ticket voting — each tied to published research. The country has lost roughly 3,500 local papers since 2005 and still loses more than two a week. This is what leaves with them.
