The Manseau Art Museum came to us with the foundation of a visual identity but without a cohesive system to support its future. While the early concepts captured the museum's ambition to celebrate contemporary art, they lacked the consistency and flexibility needed for exhibitions, publications, digital experiences, and everyday communication.

Our goal was to transform those initial ideas into a brand identity that felt timeless, expressive, and unmistakably modern.

We began by studying the museum's mission, collection, and audience. Contemporary art is constantly evolving, so the identity needed to honor that spirit while providing a stable framework that could grow alongside the institution. Every decision was guided by the belief that the brand should amplify the artwork rather than compete with it.

From there, we refined the visual language. The logo was simplified for greater clarity and versatility. Typography was selected to balance character with readability across print and digital applications.

A restrained color palette allowed exhibitions to remain the focal point while giving the museum a recognizable presence. Supporting graphic elements were developed to create consistency across visual and digital elements.

The result is more than a visual refresh. It is a complete identity system designed to evolve with every exhibition, artist, and visitor experience. Each component works together to create a recognizable voice that feels confident without becoming rigid.

Today, the Manseau Art Museum has an identity that reflects its role as a destination for contemporary culture. It provides a lasting foundation that helps every exhibition tell its own story while ensuring the museum itself remains instantly recognizable for years ahead.
