What’s your go to Shopify theme when you’re building a custom theme? I always start with Shopify Horizon as the base, bolt on Tailwind CSS, and build from there. I've built loads of custom theme's this way, its so much easier than buying a premium theme and trying to modify it. It also eliminates bloat and pointless blocks and functionality. One day I'll get around to creating my own base theme but there's never time to even get started on that!

At the time, visual AI was clunky, mobile edge processing was too slow, and natural language models weren't nearly nuanced enough. It felt like an over-engineered pipe dream. Fast forward to right now: with multi-modal vision models, location APIs, and modern cross-platform mobile architecture, the technical barrier has completely collapsed. What used to require complex computer vision pipelines can now run seamlessly in a native mobile app. How the workflow breaks down: Snap the Storefront: Capture a photo of a physical business to pull its visual footprint and lock in live GPS coordinates.
