Most fintech apps show how much you’ve saved. They don’t show what it’s costing you. Saving for travel can delay debt payoff. So I explored a better approach: A goal-based savings experience where multiple goals compete for the same income, and users can see the trade-offs clearly. I used AI across my workflow: Perplexity to ground the scenario ChatGPT to refine flows and edge cases Figma Make to shape early directions Cursor to prototype the interaction locally. Then I designed the experience in Figma, focusing on clarity and decision-making. Key ideas: • Multiple goals with clear priorities • A trade-off slider showing how timelines shift • Scroll interactions that reveal goals progressively Still refining, but the goal is simple: Help users make smarter financial decisions, not just track savings.

I designed a B2B Energy Management Dashboard for factory operations teams. The goal was simple: help managers identify where energy is wasted across multiple sites and machines, and decide what to fix within seconds. The solution focuses on prioritised alerts, clear multi-site KPIs, layered data exploration, and actionable recommendations that turn complex energy data into operational decisions. #UXDesign #ProductDesign #DashboardDesign

Project: B2B SaaS Onboarding Redesign Context: 14 day trial, multi user analytics and CRM product Challenge Teams signed up but never activated. Admins felt overwhelmed by configuration. Workspaces expired without integrations. Approach I defined the core aha moment as “see your own revenue or pipeline data inside a live dashboard”. Everything in onboarding was designed to drive that outcome. • Welcome screen asks for user goal, not company details • Personalised checklist based on role and objective • Sample data to demonstrate value before setup • Linear, skippable setup with clear progress and time expectations • Post integration prompt to invite teammates and drive adoption Result: A guided experience that reduces cognitive load, clarifies what done means, and aligns the entire setup around first value, not feature exposure

Kicking off the new year by reaching the incredible mark of 65 templates on Miroverse! I just finished publishing quite a few templates for planning, tracking, presenting and keeping up with product roadmaps. For designers, product managers, engineers, founders and managers – I'm sure one of them will fit your needs! Keep an eye out on my profile, as they will be available as soon as the awesome Miro team approves them. https://miro.com/miroverse/profile/carolina-poll/

Last Sunday, my daughter got sick. During her nap, I built something I've needed for two years. Every time she gets a fever, we do the same thing: Open a shared Notes app Title it something like "here we go again" And start logging temperature readings and medicine. If you've ever had to alternate paracetamol and ibuprofen every 4 hours while sleep-deprived, you know the fear of mixing things up. So I turned our little shared notes into an app. Little Fever is a gentle fever tracker for (tired) parents. Log temperatures. Log medicine. See the trend. Know when the next dose is possible. Shareable between caregivers. Nothing more than what you need at 2am. It's live at https://lnkd.in/dXdz7Ghz (https://lnkd.in/dXdz7Ghz)Built by a mother and a designer who had never shipped her own product before. 💜

Do you know that today is International Thank You Day? Here's an idea: kick off the week with a quick appreciation exercise with your team. Not a long workshop. Not a retro. Just a simple pause to acknowledge the people you work with. I created a lightweight Thank You Wall template exactly for this. It's designed to help teams: → Make appreciation concrete and visible → Acknowledge contributions that might otherwise go unnoticed → Create a moment of connection, even in remote setups You can use it at the start of a sprint, after a tough week, or anytime the pace has been intense and people need a reminder that their work matters. Template here if you'd like to try it: 👉 https://miro.com/templates/thank-you-wall/ Sometimes culture is built through small, intentional moments like these.
