Should brands be beautiful, or impossible to ignore? When I designed the identity for Sandwich (https://contra.com/p/Ll2mRPrk-modular-branding-for-advertising-agency-or-sandwich?referralExperimentNid=DEFAULT_REFERRAL_PROGRAM&referrerUsername=aniautorino), an advertising agency, I quickly realized that a polished, predictable brand would be the wrong answer. Inspired by the tight structure of a sandwich, I knew the identity had to feel bold, loud, and unapologetic. The logo and overall identity needed to grab attention. That is what I find interesting about Neo Brutalism. It strips away the filters and lets the message hit harder with high contrast type and bold colors. As it's hard to replicate with AI, do you think Neo Brutalism is a lasting design direction?

Brand Systems & Visual Identity
Cover image for ⁕ Full Brand Identity for
⁕ Full Brand Identity for Trace™ One of the project's greatest challenges was creating an identity that is instantly recognizable and inspires investor confidence, while balancing a futuristic aesthetic with the sense of reliability intrinsic to the brand's values. The core concept draws inspiration from the cosmos and the brand's drive to transcend boundaries; no matter the distance, the delivery is guaranteed. We translated this visually through patterns forming paths that lead to a destination, a motif that extends to every corner of the visual language.
