Brand Design for State Of Her

State of Her is a womenswear brand built around the different states of a woman’s life. Through versatile co-ords and thoughtfully designed staples, it brings ease to getting dressed, with pieces that adapt to changing moods, roles, and routines.

The goal was to translate that philosophy into a visual identity that feels refined, confident, and approachable, balancing the polish of a fashion label with the warmth of everyday wear.

The creative direction explored the balance between strength and softness. Editorial typography, sculptural references, and a restrained palette shaped a visual language rooted in modern elegance.

A custom serif wordmark anchors the identity, with an italic “her” placing emphasis on the woman at the center of the brand. A stacked logo and complementary monograms extend the system across garment labels, packaging, and smaller applications.

Ash and ivory create a clear foundation, while stone and sand bring warmth. A soft seafoam accent introduces a moment of calm. The typography carries the same balance, pairing structured serif forms with expressive italic details.

The result is a cohesive identity that gives State of Her a distinct presence across clothing labels, packaging, stationery, and digital touchpoints. From embossed details to simple typographic layouts, the system creates room for both the clothes and the woman wearing them.
