The app for the ultimate motorsport fan!

A while ago, I was discussing with my business partner that we are missing a platform where you can follow all motorsports. Before the conversation ended, we came up with the idea of bundling this in an app. That's when the idea of Raceboard was born. The app offers 9 motorsports. Through the calendar, standings, and results, you can stay up to date with your favorite sport.

Important for the brand was that it stood out among all the other racing apps. With a fast and sporty color, people quickly associate us with the racing world, even without having seen anything from our brand. This way, we fully appeal to the user's intuition.

To determine if there is enough interest in the idea, we tested it with an MVP. This app consisted of the minimum that we are now going to release. The MVP was mainly focused on widgets because we saw an opportunity here and took advantage of it.

Since the user wants to quickly check when an event takes place, we came up with the idea of developing widgets. This way, we can deliver the data from our app even faster to the end user. It has a nice dual effect, as it also serves as an additional trigger to open the app!
