1. Stop attracting the wrong visitors

It sounds simple, but it’s the root of many conversion issues. If your messaging, targeting or content is pulling in the wrong crowd, your conversion rate will suffer, no matter how “optimized” your site is. Focus on attracting qualified traffic, not just volume.

2. Align your landing pages with intent

If someone clicks on a product ad and lands on a generic homepage, you’ve already lost them. Match your landing page content and CTA with the intent of the visitor. Every click should feel like a continuation of the journey, not a detour.

3. Reduce friction in the user journey

Look at your website through a fresh lens: what’s slowing people down? Is it too many clicks? Confusing copy? Unclear value? Identify the moments where users hesitate or drop off and simplify. Every second matters.

4. Create clear, singular calls-to-action

If everything is important, nothing is. Guide your visitors toward one key action per page, whether it’s signing up, purchasing, or booking a call. Too many options = decision fatigue.

5. Use data, not assumptions

Tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, or user session recordings can reveal where and why people drop off. Don’t guess, observe. Then iterate with intention.
