Milestone projects can be broken down into a series of small phases, due dates, or deliverables based on a project's scope. Milestone projects are a good setup for projects with multiple phases, like a website redesign.

Each milestone is funded individually and requires a payment to be deposited to kick off work.

Here’s how it works:

The hiring client will deposit payment at the beginning of each milestone. Payments are held securely by Stripe until the deliverables are approved by the client, then funds will be sent to the contractor once the deliverables are approved. If the client doesn’t approve the deliverables within 120 hours of submission, Contra will automatically release funds to the contractor. All subsequent milestone payments will need to be deposited by the client before proceeding to the next milestone..
