Partnered with Envato and Contra on this one. Envato is running a $50k creative challenge called Human By Design, and I made a short video breaking down what it is and why it's worth entering. The brief: use Envato's stock assets and AI tools to build a creative project, then show the human decisions that shaped it. Not just the final render, the judgment calls along the way. You get a free month of Envato Plus just for entering. If you've been looking for a reason to ship something and potentially get paid for it, this is a good one. https://contra.com/community/topic/envatochallenge/guidelines #EnvatoChallenge #HumanByDesign #AIVideo #MotionDesign #Envato #Contra

Overthinking AI VFX One of my favorite artists once said that the most dangerous drug he ever tried was his own imagination—his thoughts. Your thoughts and ideas can become an introspective, creative, and honest adventure. By exploring the vivid scenarios that spark in your mind, you begin a journey of discovering who you truly are. Nonetheless, we all know how powerful the mind is. If we don't learn how to control it, we can slowly descend into Hades—a place so dark that your inner thoughts become distorted by your fears, often leading to stress, anxiety, and depression. To guard your soul, your mind, and your heart is one of the most important missions you have. Without a healthy mind and body, you're barely able to truly live. In this creative world, where we're constantly consuming reels, films, concerts, essays, reviews, and endless content, we often end up trapped in a state of hyperconnectivity. What once inspired us can quietly turn into comparison, making us feel like we're not good enough, not ready to start, or that it's already too late to begin. I've felt that—that weight on your back, in your chest, in your head... In those moments, I disconnect from everything so I can reconnect with myself and with God. Sometimes it's just a simple prayer. Sometimes it's five minutes of breathing with my eyes closed. I was lost, and in that solitude, through honesty, I found that creative spark once again. It may not be perfect, but it came from the heart. I have to get better. I want to be better. But every step matters. It's a process. It's a journey. Guard your mind. Guard your heart. Guard your soul. Psalms 91 https://www.instagram.com/p/DalQdeaqzo4/

"Automate the skills you are willing to lose." That quote just changed my life. I've had an internal battle for the past few years. I've wanted to learn 3D, but I've never had the discipline to finish a project—or even a course. I always end up feeling guilty, like I've wasted my time or money. I've realized that one of my biggest problems is that I don't have the patience for the level of detail that I admire so much in 3D. I admire 3D artists because they have the mindset to perfect even the smallest details to make a render look incredible, even if no one else notices them. So every time I started a 3D tutorial, I'd get frustrated when I couldn't achieve that "perfect" result. Eventually, I'd quit and tell myself, "This isn't for me." With AI, of course, everything becomes easier and faster—or at least much easier and faster compared to traditional 3D workflows. When I started using AI, I was excited that I could create these complex ideas in minutes, and the results were fantastic. But after two years of working with AI, I've realized that I want to create more ambitious projects using hybrid filmmaking techniques. And I've also realized that even though I could make them entirely with AI, I still want to learn and use 3D software like Unreal Engine. I've trained my brain to expect everything to be easy and fast, and I've forgotten the value of the struggle. I say "easy and fast" because, to deliver truly high-quality work with AI, you still need to know what you're doing. You need an understanding of cinematic language, a clear creative vision, patience, and the willingness to iterate over and over again. After watching this conference by Blender Guru (I still don't think I ever finished that freaking donut 😢), I realized, after reading that final quote, that there's a way for me to use 3D software without feeling like I'm dying in the process... again. Modeling makes me anxious and stressed. But whenever I worked on texturing and lighting in 3D, I absolutely loved it. So I've decided to use AI to create and model the things that would normally take me days, reducing them to minutes or hours, and then spend my time perfecting the parts I genuinely enjoy—lighting, texturing, compositing, and bringing everything together. I know a lot of people will probably disagree with me because modeling is at the heart of 3D. And honestly... I wish I had that passion. Believe me. But I don't actually want to become a 3D artist. I deeply admire 3D artists. I admire VFX artists. But it's not my passion. I think this has always been an internal struggle of mine. Whenever I start learning something new, I feel like I have to abandon everything else and make that new thing my identity. But that's not true. For me, 3D isn't the destination. I'll continue to admire the artistry, craftsmanship, and dedication of 3D and VFX artists with all my heart. But for me, 3D is a tool—a powerful one—not the engine that drives my creativity. And maybe that's okay. Automate the skills you're willing to lose, so you can spend more time mastering the ones you truly love. Watch the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vB3JXzewx0 maybe you can enjoy it as well 😉 The skills that I want to master and perfect over time are: - Speaking with confidence - Storytelling - Write better What is the point of having a perfect 3D scene with the greatest textures if I can’t even pronounce a simple line? Not everything has to be technical. We are the main project of our lives.

MAHABHARATA — FROZEN MOMENTS. The epic's four turning points, suspended mid-instant in bronze: the dice throw, the unending sari, the charge at Kurukshetra, the bed of arrows. The reference format is frozen-time tableaux — 26 seconds, only 3 cuts, the world stopped at 2% speed while a single camera orbits through each moment with an ease-out. I reverse-engineered its grade before shooting anything: bronze-gold chiaroscuro, warm blacks, average frame brightness under 20% — one light source carving figures out of darkness. The build inverts normal production: • The keyframe is the film — each still sculpted in Nano Banana Pro until the frozen moment is perfect, suspension baked in (dice mid-air, shards mid-shatter, embers hanging) • Seedance 2.0 animates only the camera: one 360° orbit per 6-second shot, deceleration prompted in, landing on a named final frame • Four shots, soft dissolves, one continuous score — zero hard cuts • Reference screenshots fed as style conditioning so the cast-bronze material never drifts between shots Third entry in my Mahabharata series (after Suryaputra and The Bones). This is the pipeline I bring to launch and brand films — if you're building something that deserves mythology-grade imagery, Let's Talk!

FIRST TIME ON GROUND — a fashion film shot across Egypt, except nobody went to Egypt. The reference: a real brand film that took 7 days of shooting across the country. I reverse-engineered its edit down to the frame — one 4.5-second opening hold, cuts accelerating from 1s to 0.5s, a one-second strobe burst on the drop, then two seconds of stillness to close. That rhythm is why those films feel expensive. Then I rebuilt the whole thing from zero: • 14 scenes, directed from a full shotlist before generating a single frame • Keyframes in Nano Banana Pro — one locked style system (crimson-amber silhouettes + high-contrast B/W for negative flashes) • Motion in Seedance 2.0 — one decisive camera move per shot, the cutting rhythm lives in the timeline, not the prompt • Title cards generated too, projector flicker included, in a single multishot pass • Graded and cut in Premiere Solo. Zero flights. The edit does 60% of the work — the footage does 40%. This is the production model I bring to launch films and brand films: a real location shoot's craft, without the location. If you're launching something and want a film like this, Lets Talk!

Impact at an IMAX scale. ☄️⚔️ Exploring the intersection of deep red samurai lore and "Interstellar" visual language. Key Beats: 0:03 - The Terminal Velocity Impact. 0:06 - Ethereal Titan Eruption. 0:11 - The Mountain-Cleaving Cleave. Crafted with Seedance 2.0. No music—just the raw, seismic SFX of a continental-sized blade parting the earth.
