Sometimes all a podcast, show, or creator needs is something quick, simple and to the point to make their brand stand out. In the case of my past client, UX En Español, they required just that. Because their content spans the educational genre, infusing their brand in a short impactful was very important to avoid distraction and dive right into their amazing content. A clever use of the logo's x allowed for a snappy, fun and on brand logo animation that has been in use now for years.

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working on a logo animation/intro for the Crypto.NL (http://crypto.nl) podcast. Here's what it does: Brands every episode instantly—people know it's crypto.nl (http://crypto.nl) before anyone speaks. Gives the host 3–5 seconds to settle in while viewers get oriented. Makes clips shareable—that intro on a 30-second snippet screams professionalism. Separates them from the thousand other crypto podcasts with static title cards. People saying “just get to the content” don't understand podcast psychology. Viewers want that moment of anticipation. It signals the show is about to start and sets the stage for what's about to come. What do you think, are show openers still worth it in 2025?

🎥 Project Spotlight: Lesbicanarias Logo Animation Created this intro animation for Lesbicanarias, a Canary Islands-based LGBTQ+ community platform connecting people to local resources and events. 🔎 The Brief: They had a strong static logo but needed it to come alive for their podcast and social content—something that grabs attention in the first 3 seconds. 📋 The Process: Started with their existing PNG brand assets (logo + elements) Broke down the identity into animated components Built motion around the orbital design language already in their branding Designed for flexibility—works as a video intro, story asset, or standalone brand moment 🤩 The Result: A plug-and-play animation that elevates every piece of content they create. Their brand now has a motion signature. No rebrand required. Just motion that works.

A recent YouTube Intro/Show opener I created for the Foxland.Ro (http://Foxland.Ro) YouTube channel. This was an awesome collab and one I see performing very well over time. I was supplied with the B-roll for this project along with some statics, the logo, and some reference media. The brief was to create a suspenseful, engaging and memorable opener that would help the audience transition into the videos and increase brand recognition. This style of opener is a fantastic tool for any Podcast, YouTube Channel or Creator to help build a recognizable brand that stands out and captures attention.

Book cover illustration for one of my favorite books growing up! I had a ton of fun illustrating this cover - making sure to focus on legibility of the illustration and print requirements 😊

A folded mail calendar featuring The Kennedy Center's 2023 Summer Lineup I created this during my undergrad in my Editorial Design class, and it's still one of my favorites! We were given a copy of the Kennedy Center's brand manual (which was absolutely gorgeous), and were required to strictly follow it. Good design will hold up over time, but trends won't.
