For this design, I brought the Studio Kalili website to life using Squarespace's Finish Layer by layering in subtle animation across the page to turn a static layout into something that feels considered and dynamic without overwhelming the content. The most intentional use of Finish Layer is the two-image interaction illustrating the core idea behind the studio's work: closing the gap. One image enters from the left, the other from the right, moving quickly at first and then easing as they meet in the center — fast enough to catch attention, slow enough to let the reader stay with the copy. From there, hover states on buttons, text, and large images, plus scroll-triggered entrances, guide the eye down the page and give every interactive element a small, deliberate moment of response. Squarespace's Finish Layer was used to add polished interactions across the website, creating a more dynamic browsing experience. Each interaction supports the overall experience while preserving the calm, editorial character of the Studio Kalili brand. Was going back and forth around different ideas and decided the most important client right now is me wanting to use the tools to create social media reels (based on a short series campaign) about the thoughts I have been sharing. The them for these videos are about undiscovered/unknown species of animals not wanting to be discovered by human because really there is alot that comes with finally being "discovered". I had to redo prompts and/or go back to original/earlier generations to push things in the direction that mostly aligned with what I was trying to convey. Like most times I was crunched on time and had to accept some generation as close enough after some attempts. Used AI generation for images and video, and animal sounds from Envato stock assists. Brought together in Canva. Hopefully will share some of my other ideas I worked on soon.

Cat Distribution System is really set up by the cats. With the Renoise challenge I racked my brain for a "plot twist" and decided to do a heart warming everyday concept versus going all apocalyptic/dramatic. My fun take on a species of animals who strategically domesticated themselves twice because of human produced food and treats. I wrote out the overall concept and four scenes myself. Generated prompts for each scene, with the prompt being used for the video. Generated some images to possibly use, and used one as the start image for the video. I used the Kling model for the videos. It usually does well but this challenge and a previous challenge there were some AI hiccups. I had to try and minimize with editing. Also had to somehow add the watermark. Editing was done in Canva. Enlarge the video and screenshot for full view.

Now that the Creative Sprint is over. Here is a summary of what happened of 14+ days of posting: - Posted everyday during the sprint -Using the time to really think about tools and projects -Created creative work which I haven't done in a while - I am roughly at 5000+ words out of my 50,000 goal for NaNo month. So now, I will try to play catch up by writing a whole lot of words today and tomorrow. -Somehow ended up being #1 for upgoating posts two weeks in a row. I thought everybody was using them lol. I truly upgoat posts/designs that make me feel something and somedays it really is hard to just pick 2 posts. So much talent on Contra. I am going to let this go though so I don't become goat obsessed 😂 (And hopefully they keep switching the sounds since they took away my precious and lovely scream)

Graphic Design & Event Marketing Designed a cohesive promotional campaign for an in-store wellness event, including digital signage, social media graphics, and event marketing assets. The project focused on creating a unified visual identity that captured attention, communicated event details clearly, and increased engagement across multiple formats.

Designing a content hub for a 75-location franchise network — One challenge the marketing team mentioned was collecting authentic content from dozens of franchise locations. Staff were busy, follow-up was inconsistent, and valuable stories often never made it to the marketing team. Instead of thinking about the problem as "we need more content," I approached it as a workflow problem. I designed a lightweight submission experience that would allow local teams to upload photos, videos, or voice notes in under two minutes. The concept focused on reducing friction, making participation feel effortless, and creating a repeatable system that could scale across every location. Although this was an exploratory concept, it reflects how I like to approach design: start with the operational bottleneck, then create an experience that makes the desired behavior easier. — What this demonstrates • UX Design • Product Thinking • Workflow Design • Internal Tools • Information Architecture • Content Strategy • User-Centered Design

Created short-form e-books and digital assets designed to solve specific problems through clear, structured, and visually engaging content. Led the full process from concept to final product, combining writing, layout, and user experience design to produce assets that are both functional and market-ready. Deliverables include interactive PDFs with clickable navigation, embedded resources, and clean, conversion-focused design suitable for digital storefronts like Gumroad and Etsy. The TMJ Breakthrough: One Simple Solution, Many Profound Benefits (https://sylviag.gumroad.com/l/the-tmj-breakthrough) Context A short-form digital guide offering a non-medical, root-cause-informed approach to TMJ, designed for individuals seeking alternatives beyond conventional treatments. The content focuses on addressing underlying behavioral and psychological patterns that may contribute to chronic tension and jaw pain. What This Demonstrates ◦ Ability to translate a personal insight into a structured, solution-focused digital product ◦ Strong content organization and clarity in presenting a non-traditional approach ◦ End-to-end ownership: concept development, writing, design, and distribution ◦ Visual layout and user experience design, including clickable navigation and embedded resources ◦ Positioning and packaging of a niche solution for a specific, motivated audience
