Color contrast isn’t enough on its own, so I’m trying out textures as a second cue to improve accessibility. What are the best practices for using patterns to support users who can’t rely on color alone without making the chart feel busy or distracting?

A community-powered app built on trust. Many immigrants in the U.S. regularly send care packages home, medicine, comfort foods, and small reminders of love. But shipping is slow, expensive, and often unreliable. My client saw families struggling with this and imagined a simpler path: travelers already fly with unused luggage space… What if that space could help someone send something meaningful home, while the traveler earns money in return? This vision shaped our UX approach: • Reduced friction by standardizing luggage sizes, fixed pricing, and simple packing rules. • Strengthened trust through ID verification, clear policies, and plain-language guidelines. • Empowered users with easy reporting tools and transparent expectations that keep the community safe.

Several designers had contributed to the product over time, each building on the previous work, which naturally created some inconsistencies and gaps. And my role was to bring everything together, aligning, filling missing states, removing redundancy, and providing clear annotations to support the dev team. Problem People want to turn their closet into cash, but selling is tedious. Writing descriptions, comparing prices, and managing multiple listings takes more time than it’s worth, so great pieces end up sitting in the closet. Solution CNTRL removes the friction. Users snap a photo or search the item, and AI creates the description, shows pricing trends, and recommends the best platforms. The app cross-posts automatically and delists everywhere once the item sells, helping users make money faster with far less effort.

Hi fellow designers 👋 Sharing one of my favorite MVPs I designed with an amazing client and team. ChartSync: Patient-Owned Medical Records Problem: When patients switch insurance or move states, their medical history often gets lost, leading to endless PDF searches, duplicate tests, and having to retell their story because their records are scattered everywhere. Solution: We designed a mobile app that lets patients capture files, medications, vitals, and auto-organize their records, and instantly send or receive medical files via QR code with any practitioners without downloading the app. Now in Beta: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chartsync.chartsync&hl=en_US Open to any design or case-study showcase tips from this community. ✨

Memory Vault is an original product concept I developed from idea through sourcing, packaging, ecommerce and wholesale positioning. The concept combines physical keepsakes with hidden USB-C storage, allowing customers to preserve photos, videos and other digital memories inside a tangible product. I developed the product formats, sourcing strategy, supplier coordination, packaging, pricing, branding, ecommerce presentation and go-to-market approach. The line has included ornaments, keychains, magnets, displays and power-bank concepts designed for destination retail, nonprofits, events and specialty gift markets. This project reflects how I approach product development: start with the customer need, build the product around it, then connect sourcing, packaging, pricing, branding and sales into one practical path to market. DIEM — Health & Wellness App Product Development I founded and led the development of DIEM, a multi-year health and wellness platform designed to bring nutrition, fitness, lifestyle guidance and personalized wellness information together in one experience. The idea was to go beyond a basic calorie tracker or workout app. DIEM was designed to understand the individual user—their goals, activity level, nutrition, health conditions, allergies and other profile information—and use that data to provide more relevant daily guidance. My role covered virtually every part of the product and business development process. I worked closely with professional software developers to define features, workflows, functionality, user experience, testing requirements and ongoing improvements. The developers handled the programming, while I directed what the platform needed to do and how the overall system should work. I also hired and worked with licensed dietitians, physicians and other health professionals to develop the wellness information behind the platform. That content was incorporated into formulas, rules and logic designed to provide personalized recommendations to users. DIEM included features such as personalized daily regimen items, nutrition tracking, exercise tracking, health conditions, allergies, goals, reports and wellness recommendations. Users could select goals such as losing weight, getting fit, improving overall health, toning, gaining weight or maintaining their current condition. The platform was also designed with a professional side in mind, allowing trainers, coaches and health professionals to eventually review user information, provide guidance and work more closely with their clients. Beyond the product itself, I was involved in branding, competitive research, UX direction, content development, marketing, social media, business strategy and commercialization. The larger business model included consumer subscriptions, professional accounts, corporate wellness programs and potential white-label licensing. DIEM was a substantial multi-year product-development project that brought together technology, professional wellness content, user experience and business strategy. It demonstrates my ability to take a complex idea, define how it should work, coordinate the right specialists, and develop it into a structured product with a clear path toward commercialization.
