The Challenge

Paloma didn’t want to be another dating app.They were building something different: a platform for people ready for real connection—no swiping, no games, no superficiality.
But their early messaging lacked distinction. It didn’t capture what made them unique or why their approach mattered. I partnered with Paloma to shape a brand voice, create detailed user personas, and craft strategic copy across key product and marketing surfaces—all to help them show up with more clarity, consistency, and credibility.

My Role

I led brand strategy, voice development, and cross-functional copywriting across Paloma’s early product and launch touchpoints.

User Research & Personas Developed 4 detailed user personas based on relationship goals and communication styles
Voice Audit & White Space Mapping Conducted competitor tone analysis to identify opportunities for distinction
Brand Voice Guidelines Created a comprehensive tone guide with do’s/don’ts, examples, and editing tips
Messaging Framework Wrote Paloma’s core elevator pitch and boilerplate used in press + investor materials
Landing Page Copy Developed conversion copy that balanced emotion, value prop, and clarity
