OneLiquidity is hoped to develop a new and innovative product that will help businesses scale, they offer crypto trading, lending services, virtual accounts/cards, compliance and KYC services and wallets.

The product aims to allows users to easily buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies, access lending services, virtual accounts/cards, compliance and KYC services and wallets. on their web and mobile devices. The product aims to provide a user-friendly platform for people who are interested in investing in cryptocurrencies but find the existing trading platforms to be complex and intimidating.

The existing crypto trading and fintech services apps in the market are complex and difficult to navigate, fintect service providers find it difficult to access access lending services, virtual accounts/cards, compliance and KYC services and wallets at a reasonable fee/price that will help them scale their business leading to a poor user experience.

The lack of intuitive design and ease of use leads to frustration and discourages users from continuing to use the platform. Additionally, security is a major concern for users when it comes to Financial Services

The goals of the UX design for the crypto trading app are to:

Provide a simple and intuitive platform for users to trade cryptocurrencies, access lending services, virtual accounts/cards, compliance and KYC services and wallets

Make the app user-friendly, reducing the learning curve for new users.

Develop trust with users by providing them with a reliable and secure trading platform.

Increase user engagement and retention by creating a seamless trading experience.

Differentiate the app from competitors by providing unique features and functionalities.

Complexity: One of the most common findings in UX research for crypto trading apps and FinTech products is the complexity of the platform. Many users find the terminology and technical aspects of trading cryptocurrencies to be overwhelming and difficult to understand.

Trust and security: Security is a major concern for users when it comes to trading cryptocurrencies, and they want to feel confident that their investments are safe. Trust in the app's security and reliability is critical for user adoption and engagement.

Ease of use: Users want a simple and intuitive platform that's easy to use, even if they have no prior experience with trading cryptocurrencies or using FinTech products. They want to be able to easily buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies without feeling confused or intimidated by the platform.

Real-time market data: Access to real-time market data is crucial for users who are trading cryptocurrencies. They want to be able to quickly view the latest prices and trends in order to make informed decisions about their investments.

Customer support: When issues arise, users want to be able to easily access customer support for help. They want to be able to get quick answers to their questions and resolve any issues that may arise.

Mobile access: Many users prefer to trade cryptocurrencies on their mobile devices, so having a mobile-friendly app is essential for user adoption and engagement.

Differentiation from competitors: With so many crypto trading apps on the market, users are looking for unique features and functionalities that differentiate one app from another. I joined One Liquidity June, 2022 and i was onboarded to lead the Product Design Team working closely with the CEO, Product Lead and Engineering to conduct user research and subsequently use my research findings to design the information architecture and user flows for the OneLiquidity Product.

Part of my task was also to conduct usability testing using prototypes with some selected users and further ship approved designs to Engineering for implementation.
