Overview

Renndaar provides a platform for customers to request and receive various types of services, such as cleaning, handyman services, and home repairs. The goal of the platform is to make it easy for customers to request and receive services, while also providing a seamless experience for service providers.
Renndaar is a service technology Product that helps to connect service providers known as “Seeker” with service Givers knows as ‘Giver”.

Problem

The service industry is one of the largest revenue generation sectors for both private and public sectors, billions of dollars of transactions in form of contracts and agreements are carried out between parties (providers and seekers) every single day across the globe.
Most contracts and agreements are most time either broken or one party is not satisfied with the delivery or offer from the other party, this has created a deficit in the service industry thereby affecting our business is conducted between parties.

Solution

After critical analysis and the review of the problem, the Renndaar Team felt it’s imperative to come up with a roburst and yet effective solution for bridging the gap and solving a critical problem that the service industry faces.
Renndaar hopes to provide a well thought out and crafted solution that offers a platform where Service Seekers (Seekers) can easily find verified and highly rated Servcie Providers (Givers).
Service Seekers can engage the services of a Service Giver, a mutual contract will signed and the contract and delivery terms will be closely tracked by the Service Seekers based on the terms agreed upon by the both Parties.

Research Methodology

The goal of the research is to gather user feedback and insights to improve the app’s user experience and to identify user pain points that need to be addressed in order to make the app more appealing to users.

My Role

I was contracted as User Experience Consultant to work on the UX and UI of Renndaar, i worked closely with the founders to conduct user research and further break down their idea into user flows, maps and information flow.
With the information from my User Research, Usability Audit and User Interviews i conducted, i was able to design the userflow and further implemented the new flow by designing Low-Fi and Hi-Fi wireframes.

Objective

The goal of the research is to gather user feedback and insights to improve the app’s user experience and to identify user pain points that need to be addressed in order to make the app more appealing to users.

Design Solution

Based on the research findings, I designed a Service Management Platform that offers service providers and seekers a streamlined solution that allows them to initiate and manage a contractual agreement that prevent loss to either side.

Design Process

When starting on a project, I usually stick to a routine / design process that makes my designs be as consistent as possible. No matter what kind of a project it is, I stick to these golden 4 steps:

Recommendations

Based on our findings, we made several recommendations to improve the user experience of our service request and delivery product:
Simplify the service request process by providing more detailed information and guidance on the types of services available.
Implement a scheduling system that allows service providers to indicate their availability and enables customers to schedule services more efficiently.
Improve the onboarding process for service providers, including providing clearer guidelines on how to complete service requests and deliver high-quality services.
