One of my favourite projects in 2025 was working with one of my good friends on her new brand identity, Made For More ☀️ An umbrella brand that holds her mentorships, nutrition coaching, podcast, social media presence, and more. It was definitely more challenging. When you work with someone you know, your self-expectations are higher. But that also made it exciting. Seeing this brand identity come together was genuinely special. I’m still putting the full case study together for Contra, but here’s a sneak peek. The project was built using Figma and Adobe Illustrator, with Canva used to organise and hand over all the assets so she can confidently use and scale them in the future. This is the kind of work I want more of in 2026. Brands with soul. Brands that tell a story and shape culture.

NEW ENERGY ALERT As we leave autumn 🍂 and head into winter🧣 here in Argentina, I keep thinking about how much freelancing celebrates momentum, growth, and doing more. For the past months I have been chasing momentum and design frenzy, however, after being at the verge of burnout this season, I am aiming for something different: consistency & peace of mind. I used motion blur in this visual to represent transition instead of rushing forward. Because sometimes the best thing you can bring to your work is not more energy but less noise. What energy are you bringing into your next season of freelance work?

When I designed the identity for Sandwich (https://contra.com/p/Ll2mRPrk-modular-branding-for-advertising-agency-or-sandwich?referralExperimentNid=DEFAULT_REFERRAL_PROGRAM&referrerUsername=aniautorino), an advertising agency, I quickly realized that a polished, predictable brand would be the wrong answer. Inspired by the tight structure of a sandwich, I knew the identity had to feel bold, loud, and unapologetic. The logo and overall identity needed to grab attention. That is what I find interesting about Neo Brutalism. It strips away the filters and lets the message hit harder with high contrast type and bold colors. As it's hard to replicate with AI, do you think Neo Brutalism is a lasting design direction?
