End of an era. After 3 good years on Framer, we moved @designme (https://x.com/designme) to our own stack. Framer got us far, and I'd still recommend it for a lot of teams. But the more we grew, the more we needed control: over the code, structure and speed of testing and shipping new things. So, we rebuilt everything from scratch in Astro. It's the same setup we now build for our clients (which is exactly why we had to run our own site on it first). Really proud of the team and how fast we're moving now. DesignMe 2.0 is live ↓

What if sending money felt a little more like giving a gift? For Nova, I explored a banking app that brings payments, cards, and a bit of personality together. You can check your balance, browse recent transactions, send or request money, top up, and pay bills. My favorite part is the digital postcard feature. Before sending a transfer, you can add a little illustrated card—a heart, a birthday greeting, or a playful character. A simple way to make birthday money or a thank-you feel more personal. I carried that same 3D character into onboarding, pairing it with bold red gradients and large, clear payment details. There’s room for play, while the recipient and amount stay easy to check. Would you add a postcard to a transfer? I’d love to know what occasion you’d use it for.

Casemate: making malware analysis feel calm instead of scary Cybersecurity websites usually look the same: black background, green code, a hooded guy. I wanted to try the opposite for Casemate, a concept for a malware analysis tool. The idea is simple: the product keeps a suspicious file in a sealed chamber and watches what it does. So I put a bug frozen in amber in the middle of a canyon. It’s dangerous and under control at the same time, and you get it without reading a word. Then I made sure the page still works for a security lead who wants facts. The stats sit right next to the headline: threats isolated, latency, endpoints covered. The hardest part was keeping it warm without losing trust. I stayed with one terracotta colour, wide capitals and mono labels, so it reads like a serious tool and not a poster. I’m taking on new projects for SaaS and tech teams. If you have a product that’s hard to explain in one glance, send me a message. What do you think, would you trust a security product with a canyon on the homepage?

Landing page design for Lumo — banking for freelance life Banks sell control — dashboards, charts, a card floating at fifteen degrees. Freelancers don't want control over their money. They want to stop thinking about it in the gap between sending an invoice and the money landing. That gap is what the page is built on. The product sits in a meadow instead of on a dark grid, because the promise isn't "manage your finances better" — it's "we handle the part that keeps you up." And the strongest line on the page isn't a feature: no waiting for Monday. Freelancers don't lose weekends to fees. They lose them to timing. The proof follows the same rule. One freelancer, one number — 4% lost on every international payment. A percentage someone can check against their own account beats any adjective.

Snap — Interactive 3D Patch Studio The problem Customizing clothes online creates a gap between what the customer imagines and what ends up on the sewing table. People want creative freedom; production needs exact instructions. The result is endless back-and-forth and “where do I put this patch?” messages. The build I’m a designer, so everything started in Figma — every screen, hover and sticker. Then I rebuilt it in Base44, one prompt at a time: layout first, then motion, then the 3D studio. In the studio, you drop patches anywhere on a real 3D shirt, then rotate, resize, duplicate or undo. On mobile, it’s built for one thumb: separate modes for viewing, placing and editing, and quick zones like Chest or Sleeve. Small details carry the brand: hover a patch in the catalog to see it sewn on a shirt, or hover the headline letters to watch them turn into 3D type. Three things fought back: Patches on a real 3D shirt — solved with surface decals that follow the fabric. Saving exactly what people design — solved with automatic front/back snapshots. One-thumb mobile editing — solved by splitting the studio into clear modes instead of shrinking the desktop layout. Automation Snapshot → production (saves time, removes errors). The moment you add to bag, snap captures your design front and back. The snapshots go to production with the order, and the admin can download a ready-to-print production sheet as a PDF. What you see is exactly what we sew. Status emails (customer experience). Change an order’s status in the admin, and the customer is notified automatically: in production, shipped with tracking, delivered. Owner alerts (operations). New orders and contact messages land in my inbox right away, with a link to the order. Waitlist (leads). Unreleased items like the hoodie collect sign-ups instead of being a dead end. The moment I switch it live, everyone waiting gets an email. Vibe code. Vibe design. Real thread. Life project: https://figma-snap-416e61aa.base44.app Figma file (for personal use) (https://www.figma.com/design/WBcU9wfZ8fZmQ5pftyPduj/SNAP?node-id=1-3&t=7ZcMTyQ6TkPIkoGB-1)Full screencasts are in the comments: the customer flow (from the catalog to checkout, on desktop and mobile) and the admin flow (the order with its snapshots → the production PDF → a status change → the automatic email).

First drafts for iPhone Duo. It's too early, but I already can say that there are so many weird UX things going on with this device. Nevertheless, this is a great design challenge!
