Treating task paralysis by removing traditional to-do lists

I've used a number of task apps for almost a decade. Yet, I still struggle with task paralysis on the daily regardless of the app or system I use. I spent some time designing a theoretical, better approach to how we approach task management design which you can read about below: I'm working on the thinking behind the task capture by designing an interface for inline natural language processing to organise tasks. Beyond liquid glass, I think there's a lot of potential in 3D UI especially with emphasis on shadows and gradient colours

Day 8/30 of designing one hero section every day. Today: Cerro, a single-origin coffee brand. And after three days of building reveal mechanics, this one has almost no interaction at all. → The photograph is the design. An overhead shot of a picker at work, dark glossy foliage, red cherries. My only job was to not get in its way. → The light does the layout for me. The image funnels attention to the center, so the type sits in the shadowed edges where it doesn't compete. No scrims, no overlays needed. → The only motion is an entrance: the wordmark alone on empty plants, then the picker fades in. Credits: Arbi Khan for the template Image: Google Nano Banana Built in Framer 8 down, 22 to go.

Day 6/30 of designing one hero section every day. Today: Fluff & Co., a dog grooming salon The hero is a hover mask reveal component on Framer: the dog starts scruffy, and wherever your cursor moves, the groomed version shows through. You groom the dog with your mouse. → The interaction performs the headline. → Playfulness matches the client. 6 down, 24 to go. #webdesign #uidesign #herosection #30daychallenge #interactiondesign #microinteractions #designchallenge

Day 5/30 of designing one hero section every day. Today: Fern & Stone, a landscape architecture studio. A draggable before/after slider built into the hero itself. The "before" isn't ugly. It's just unimagined. A plain lawn, flat light, empty patio. That's what most clients actually start with, and it makes the reveal feel like imagination, not renovation. This slider IS the sales pitch: it does the exact thing the studio does, in one drag. 5 down, 25 to go. #webdesign #uidesign #herosection #30daychallenge #interactiondesign #landscapedesign #designchallenge

Day 4/30 of designing one hero section every day. Today: an event landing page for "Glow Nights": an immersive winter light experience in Sydney, headlined by a DJ. Events are a different design problem. You're not selling a product people can evaluate, you're selling a night they have to imagine. So: → Video does the imagining for them. The hero sits on live footage of the light installation, thousands of suspended points of light. No still image gets close to this. → The title stays bone-white and dead simple. When the background is this loud, type has one job: don't compete, just be legible from across the room. → The details bar anchors the bottom like a ticket stub. Date on one side, venue on the other. 4 down, 26 to go.

United Carriers serve sectors with genuinely different requirements, from pharmaceuticals to automotive to retail. The industries hero establishes that range before the page goes into specifics. The hero uses a wide, cinematic frame to signal breadth, then hands off into a structured layout where each sector gets its own handling detail. The intent is to make a broad capability feel specific rather than generic, which is the usual failure mode of an industries page.

Designing the Career page for Binder Consulting Career pages are often the most neglected part of a consultancy site, which is strange because they're where the best people first meet the brand. We treated Binder's like its own small story. It opens with the line "Consulting That Challenges You. A Team That Supports You," which sets the tone immediately. From there: warm photography of the real team, quotes from current members on why they stay, a clear look at the career path on offer, honest benefits, and a fully transparent hiring process laid out stage by stage. Nothing hidden, nothing oversold. The page makes one quiet point really well: consulting can be ambitious and human at the same time. Open to new projects if you're building something in this space.

Rethinking the Insight page for Binder Consulting A small but meaningful UX call on this build. Most consultancies split their content into three separate pages: articles here, success stories there, whitepapers somewhere else. We put all three on one page, controlled by one shared filter. And the filter applies live, the moment you tap a tag, no Apply button to chase. Sounds minor, but it changes how the page feels. Less like navigating a site, more like flipping through a well-organised library. Open to new projects if you're working on something in this space.

How we visualised millions of dollar in jackpots for ClubV ClubV is the leading egaming club in Saigon, packed with the latest slots, roulette and baccarat machines. They needed a website that matched the floor experience: high stakes, but quietly premium. This screen pulls live jackpot data from their API and lays it out as a cluster of circles. One per win, sized by payout. Switch between 7 and 30 day views. It updates in real time. The brief was simple. Make the numbers the hero. We did that by stripping everything else back. Happy to chat about similar work for hospitality or gaming brands.

Recent Web design and branding work for a client with a crane truck business. I was lucky enough to be a part of the strategy process and have seen this business grow massively over the last 6 months. To be a part of the growth and having contributed parts of the brand like the logo and website has been a really rewarding experience and I look forward to doing similar projects in the future! https://hariz-crane-trucks.vercel.app/
