Giving a fresh feel to my client's website with @Envato at the forefront of my workflow. 👩🎨🍋
Combining my client's brand design and creative assets from Envato, I animated the product using Envato's AI toolkit.
AI is still falling short on delivering a stand alone hero-section-ready output, this is where the human creativity comes in.
AI video was good but flat so I layered in depth, image and texture I got from Envato, giving it fresh, creative, brand-aligned look the raw AI output could not deliver.
Is "technically good", "actually good"?
I think it's a distinction AI can't tell. What do you think?

Agree with the distinction. Technically good usually means the output is coherent and error free, actually good means it fits the brand and makes the client's product feel like theirs. That second part is still very much a taste call, not something a model can judge for itself yet.
You think there will be a day when AI will be able to apply at least some creativity by analysing the patterns of human creative work?
I think so, at least to a degree. AI will become much better at recognizing creative patterns, combining unexpected references, and generating genuinely useful directions. But creativity is also shaped by lived experience, intention, emotion, and taste, so I see AI becoming a...
Jeah, I guess this is what AI dystopia / utopia theories are all about, when AI reaches the point where this distinction is gone. I wonder if we'll get to see the day..

This looks clean and well thought out. How long did it take you to bring everything together?
I'd say about an hour. I tried Envato for the first time and I gotta say - it's so straight forward and easy to get around. Sometimes new tools can take a while to get used to, Envato fit right into my workflow like a charm. :)
That's impressive for a first try! Sounds like Envato made the whole process a lot smoother.
Waaay, way smoother. Envato's combination of a large ready to use asset library + solid AI toolkit for further customisation right there in the tool is a huge timesaver for a designer.

I like that you treated AI as part of the workflow instead of expecting it to produce the final result. Right now, it's much better at accelerating exploration than replacing design decisions.

The gap you are naming is intent versus polish; AI optimizes each frame to look clean on its own, but a hero has to earn the scroll and carry one specific brand promise, and that call needs the client's positioning the model never holds. Layering in depth and texture is really you re-adding the hierarchy the flat output dropped.

Most digital design is built on rigid boundaries, predefined templates, and strict goals. For the launch of LUCERRÁ, we wanted to do something completely different.
Over the last few months, I have been obsessed with an abstract question: What happens when you build a digital experience without a roadmap, letting internal philosophy and raw intuition dictate the final product?
Today, we are officially launching lucerra.co alongside an intimate behind-the-scenes that pulls back the curtain on how we translated a void, a monolith of light, and a 3D ink brush into reality.
This wouldn't have been possible without the incredible team that carried this vision across the finish line.
