Breaking into Figma — looking to connect with folks who've made it work 🎨
I'm relatively new to Figma but genuinely hooked — there's something about the workflow that just clicks for me. I don't come from a traditional design or dev background (some college, no degree), which means I'm building my skills from the ground up rather than relying on formal training.
I'm reaching out to two groups:
1️⃣ If you're already making money with Figma — I'd love to hear how you got started. What skills mattered most early on? What would you do differently if you were beginning today? Any resources, communities, or first projects you'd recommend?
