Ricoseller Basketball Shoes

Ricoseller is a rising brand in Argentina focused on basketball footwear and apparel. This project involved building its visual identity and designing a complete e-commerce experience from the ground up.

When we first connected, Ricoseller was a young brand already showing strong sales results — even without an e-commerce platform. With no visual identity beyond its name, all sales were managed through Instagram and Mercado Libre. The founder had a clear vision and felt it was time to take the next big step: building a brand and launching a full online store.
The goal was to create a brand and e-commerce platform that could stand alongside the top players in the country. While we didn’t have the budget or a large team, we believed in our ability — and drive — to build something truly first-class. The biggest challenge? Time. The client needed the entire project completed in near-record time. But if there’s one thing we enjoy, it’s a challenge — so we accepted it.
The project began with research phases including user interviews, surveys, and competitive benchmarking. Many insights from the brand development stage were also valuable in shaping the e-commerce experience.
The design process moved from early drafts to high-fidelity prototypes, followed by user testing with five participants. After launch, we tracked performance using analytics and heatmaps to monitor real-time behavior and improve the site.
We knew the platform had to be highly customized to deliver a great user experience and showcase the new brand identity. Since solutions like WooCommerce or Shopify were too limited, and time didn’t allow for in-house development, we decided to outsource the build to a trusted development team — a first for us.
