Citizens for Suzanne Ness is an ongoing campaign effort for incumbent Representative Ness for the Illinois House of Representatives. In a battleground district, Ness flipped a seat and has held office for 2 campaign cycles.

My Role 👋

Develop and Execute a Dynamic Social Strategy: Implement a comprehensive social media plan, continually refining and adapting it to align with evolving goals and audience needs.

Oversee Content Calendar and Campaigns: Lead the management of content schedules and campaign initiatives to ensure consistent, strategic, and timely engagement across all platforms.

Supervise and Mentor Social Media Interns: Provide leadership and guidance to social media interns, fostering growth and ensuring high-quality contributions.

Create Engaging Multimedia Content: Develop visually compelling content, including photos, videos, and graphics, that enhances brand identity and engages target audiences.

Collaborate on High-Impact Design Projects: Partner with graphic designers to produce essential marketing collateral, website updates, and other major creative needs.

Engage with Key Stakeholders Weekly: Meet regularly with the Campaign Manager and Candidate to stay informed on current events, review content strategies, and plan for future initiatives.

Refine and Evolve Campaign Messaging: Develop and iterate on messaging strategies for Citizens for Suzanne Ness, ensuring alignment with the campaign's vision and objectives.

Lead Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of all campaign events, ensuring smooth operations and maximum outreach.

Analyze Engagement and Performance Metrics: Monitor and assess social media engagement and performance metrics on a weekly basis, using insights to refine strategies.

Design and Implement Email Marketing Campaigns: Create targeted email marketing strategies and oversee their execution to boost engagement and foster supporter relationships.

Results

This project is always in progress. In our current campaign cycle, we're generating more money from fundraising than we ever have, implementing more community events than ever, and our content is being engaged with the most this campaign cycle than it ever has!
