Mushroom Rise are an e-commerce business that specializes in selling functional mushroom extracts. They are dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality functional mushroom extracts, backed by rigorous scientific research and stringent quality control measures. Their mission is to unlock the incredible potential of these ancient superfoods, ensuring that customers can confidently incorporate them into their wellness routine.

Project Brief

Create a mobile first application that allows customers to access batch information for their purchase.

Design and implement a smooth user experience which begins with the user scanning a QR code on the products packaging.

Design and develop the app in a way that allows for effortless scaling as more product lines and batches are added.

Manage hosting and deployment of the application.

Project Role

For this project I took on both the role of the UI/UX designer and the developer. I really enjoy working in this way as it allows me to move quickly from design concepts to a finish product for the client. Mushroom Rise have a well defined and well thought through style guide, great content assets and a deep passion for their work which made designing the end solution a lot of fun.

Challenges

It took some careful thought to ensure that application would be future proof for different batches which may potentially contain different data formats and information.
