Mealll was created of the back of a conversation with a personal trainer friend of mine. I was helping him use chatgpt to create meal plans for his clients. I thought to myself - "I wonder if I can make this into a product that can scale?"

Mealll is an AI powered tool that helps users create meal plans that our personalized to their own nutritional requirements, activitiy levels, goals and favourite foods. The app creates a weekly meal plan for the users along with a shopping list and recipes for all of the week's meals. The mission is to make a healthier world one home cooked meal at a time.

As a bootstrapped side project, I'm responsible for every aspect of Mealll from brand design and copywriting through to web development and hosting management. Working in this way has been a great way to combine my skills holistically. Being in both the marketing and development "chair" allows me to implement strategies quickly. For example, building a nutrient calculator tool which also serves as a lead magnet for paid ads. It's also given me a renewed appreciation for working in larger teams!

This was my first time working with a LLM api. It took some clever prompt engineering and a combination of prompts to ensure that results fell below the APIs token limit.
