Company Background
Bagru is a small Indian town located thirty kilometers outside of Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan. Artisans have been hand printing fabrics with wooden blocks in Bagru for over 350 years. Studio Bagru work with local artisans to deliver custom production and printing workshops.
Project Brief
Clarify business messaging.
Rewrite main copy.
Write improved and detailed offer copy to increase conversions.
Restructure strikingly site to drive more traffic for key workshops.
Challenges
I haven't worked in Strikingly so there was a small learning curve to get up to speed with it. This was less a case of learning what the software could do as learning where its limitations are. With less room to be expressive with design, Strikingly made us think more deeply about the copy and messaging which I think turned out for the positive.
