Albatross Network is a mobile-first membership platform for private golf club members, designed to connect them through a curated, members-only network so they can play at each other’s courses. Once a member has paid for their membership and their club membership has been verified, they can request to play rounds at clubs where other Albatross members belong. The request is sent to the Albatross members of that club, not to the club itself, and those members choose whether to accept or decline it.

Built with FlutterFlow and Firebase, the platform combines a cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android with a lightweight web onboarding site. The process is designed around a clear member flow: register on the website, select one or more clubs, enter member and golf data, upload membership documentation for verification by Albatross administrators, and pay the membership through Stripe. From there, the mobile app becomes the main product, where members request rounds, answer inbound requests from their dashboard, and follow each round from request to completion.

The project also integrates the key services around the platform’s membership workflow, including Firebase authentication, database, cloud functions, storage and hosting, Stripe web payments, automated transactional and event-based email notifications, and geolocation to find nearby clubs and confirm completed rounds when the member is close to the club where the round was scheduled. This allows Albatross to go beyond a simple booking app and operate as a complete digital infrastructure for a private, verified golf community.
