Morning Brief: a scheduled Claude briefing before the work day
The first thirty minutes of a work day usually go to figuring out what the day is: opening the calendar, scanning the task list, remembering who owes an answer and deciding what matters most.
What I built
A briefing that arrives before the owner sits down. Today's calendar, the three tasks that matter most and why, the threads waiting on other people and anything that slipped yesterday.
How it works
Claude runs on a schedule each morning, before the work window opens.
It reads the calendar, the Notion task database and the open follow-ups.
Priorities are scored against the owner's goals, and the brief explains the top three.
A waiting-on list shows every thread where the ball is in someone else's court.
Everything lands as one page: schedule, priorities, waiting-on and yesterday's loose ends.
What changed
A five-minute read replaces thirty minutes of orienting, and delegated work stops evaporating. It takes one day to build once the task database and calendar are connected, and it returns two to three hours a week.
Part of a larger build
Part of the Business Dashboard build. I built this system for my own business first. The full write-up and stack are on the Morning Brief page at dimagornovskyi.com/projects.
