Scheduling looks free and costs a lot: the back-and-forth to find a slot, meetings that land in the middle of a focus block and the Tuesday that turns into six calls with no room to think.
What I built
A calendar with rules and an AI that enforces them. Clients book themselves into chosen windows, focus blocks are protected before anything else lands and each morning the day arrives as an agenda with preparation attached.
How it works
Define the calendar rules: which days take meetings, which hours stay protected, how much buffer every call needs.
Set up a booking page that offers only the slots the rules allow.
Put focus blocks on the calendar first, as appointments with the owner's own work.
Claude reads the calendar each morning and delivers the day as an agenda, with context for every meeting.
When conflicts appear, the AI flags them with a proposed fix.
What changed
Scheduling email threads end, focus hours survive the week and every morning starts with an agenda. Setup takes one to two days including the rules workshop, and it returns two to three hours a week.
Part of a larger build
Part of the Business Dashboard build. I built this system for my own business first. The full write-up and stack are on the Calendar Scheduling page at dimagornovskyi.com/projects.
