One standard, four production floors, and a brand specified once so all four look like one company.

South China Clothing makes corporate clothing in Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Sydney. Whichever floor fills an order, the garment and the way it is presented have to match, or a client is dealing with four companies that happen to share a name. I designed the identity, and designed and built the website.

Designed once, it goes everywhere. The boxed mark borrows from Hong Kong shop signs, and it holds on a storefront, a sewn-in label and the top of a web page with no redesign.

Two files cover the typography. The mark is set in Helvetica Condensed; anything written near it is Helvetica Regular. That is the entire specification, which is why a card produced in one country and a page served from another do not drift apart. The site puts the tailoring first and names all four locations on the opening screen.

Whichever of the four you walk into, you are dealing with the same company.
