The context

Social Hackers Academy is a tech-education NGO in Athens that teaches coding to people from underrepresented communities and connects them with employers. As Head of Marketing, I ran event marketing, community management, and social media.

What I did

Developer community: grew the "Devs Alliance" Meetup community from 150 to 500+ members in six months of 2019.
Tech events: marketed five tech events that brought students and employers together.
Testimonial content: built a multi-format testimonial program with student, volunteer, and teacher stories across Facebook and Instagram carousels, supporting course applications and volunteer recruitment.
Campaigns: ran Instagram story campaigns around moments such as International Mother Language Day.

What it shows

How community, events, and honest storytelling can grow a mission-driven organisation on a small budget.
