Overview

Supercharge provides EV charging solutions for businesses and municipalities, helping them deploy fast, reliable infrastructure and accelerate the energy transition in France.
Our mandate was to design and ship a high-performing marketing website that reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability while driving qualified leads.

Our Role

End-to-end UX/UI and web development, from scoping and structure to build, QA and launch. I owned design, performance, and technical SEO.

Approach

We started with a tight deadline and a clear objective: ship a fast, conversion-oriented site in under one month, without compromising brand quality.
The focus was on fundamentals that compound: clear information architecture, lightweight animations, technical SEO built in from day one, and a scalable component system.

Information Architecture

Initial workshops clarified the 3 primary audiences and journeys. We mapped content to intent and removed duplication to reduce friction.
Key flows:
Discover the product and benefits
Explore solutions per audience
Convert with clear CTAs and FAQ support
Resulting structure: Home → Solutions → Drivers / Businesses / Investors → FAQ → Contact

Design Principles

Clean, spacious layouts that communicate speed and reliability
Motion used sparingly to guide attention, not to decorate
Visual language aligned with sustainability and technology
Components designed for scale and easy content iteration

Development

CMS: WordPress for speed of implementation and editor autonomy
Front-end: custom components, minimal JS, accessible markup
Animation: micro-interactions implemented without impacting load time
Performance: image pipeline, caching, code splitting, and strict budgets

Localization and SEO

Technical SEO integrated at build time: semantic structure, metadata, sitemaps, clean URLs
Internal linking aligned with buyer journeys
Content blocks designed for future multilingual expansion and SEO scalability

Challenges and Learnings

Delivering design and build in a compressed timeline required strict scope control and a component-first mindset
Balancing rich motion with performance targets pushed us to favor micro-interactions and pre-planned asset budgets

Results

Simplified, user-centered structure that supports three audiences
High-performance website ready to scale content and features
Strong technical foundation for organic acquisition
