A rapid design of a token sale platform that successfully balances the needs of crypto novices and experts, resulting in a user-friendly experience that accelerates onboarding and purchasing.

Purpose for Profit is a blockchain-for-good tokenized credit fund focused on tackling the housing crisis through low-interest loans for affordable housing. For the launch of their $PURPOSE token, I led the design of a retail token sale platform that simplifies crypto investing for beginners while offering advanced features for experienced users. The platform is built to support Purpose for Profit’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) goals and remains scalable for future growth.‍

This project presented an opportunity to create an inclusive, mission-driven platform that empowers users to participate in the $PURPOSE token sale that would support funding for affordable housing initiatives, supporting positive global change through blockchain.‍

The platform had to empower diverse users to confidently participate in the $PURPOSE token sale, enabling them to invest with ease while striking the right balance: simplifying the experience for crypto novices without sacrificing advanced functionality for experienced investors.

At the heart of the platform was the ethos “Do Good, Do Well”—empowering users to support affordable housing initiatives while also doing well with their investment. The goal was to ensure users could contribute to meaningful impact through the $PURPOSE token, all within a seamless, thoughtfully designed platform that balanced usability with robust functionality.

Taking a rapid and strategic design approach, I focused on key principles: simplicity, transparency, and user-friendly functionality. I prioritized intuitive user flows that simplified onboarding and token purchase steps. This helped reduce friction for new users while ensuring a seamless experience for more advanced crypto enthusiasts. The design was guided by familiar design patterns and UX heuristics, which allowed us to create a platform that balanced advanced functionality with ease of use, catering to both beginner and expert users.

Visual Design: To maintain consistency and visual cohesion, the design language I developed for the website was extended into the product UI, featuring continued use of Inter for a clean, modern feel, and a colour palette that conveys trust and innovation through a refined blend of blue and purple tones.‍

Initial Token Purchase Flow: A user-friendly, stepped process that introduces users to connecting a wallet, verifying identity, and purchasing tokens with clear guidance at each stage.‍

Overview: A clear, information-rich dashboard for users to track their investments and token holdings, providing at-a-glance insights.‍

Tiered Staking: Intuitive pathways for users to participate in staking at different levels, ensuring transparency and flexibility.

Leaderboard: A fun and engaging feature that promotes transparency, showing how individual efforts align with the broader community and Purpose for Profit's mission.‍

Tutorial:  Designed a lightweight, easily updatable knowledge bank that serves as both a first-time onboarding guide and an ongoing reference, giving users everything they need to buy and stake $PURPOSE with confidence.

The platform successfully bridges the gap between novice and experienced crypto users, empowering confident participation in the $PURPOSE token sale. Its scalable, user-friendly design laid the foundation for future growth, while advancing Purpose for Profit’s mission of driving positive change through blockchain. Key outcomes include:‍
