Express Your Power is an award-winning four-part series produced by Media Smart Citizens Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library The New York Public Library
I served as Project Manager and Integrated Producer for Express Your Power, an award-winning video series on Media Literacy.
My scope of work included:
Managing creative teams of over 20 volunteers
Overseeing the writing and the editorial research process, providing copyediting support, directly interviewing viewers on their viewing preferences
Managing and spearheading the volunteer recruitment process
Coordinating conference and festival submissions
Impact made:
Express Your Power was a Bronze Winner of the 43rd Annual Telly Awards in the category Online - Series: Education & Discovery.
The series was showcased at the 2022 American Library Association Lib Learn X Conference and part of UNESCO's Media Literacy Week
Help to sustain a relationship/partnership between The New School and the SNFL/NYPL, introducing students to the library's resources
