I was a participant in C-School's Community Management Foundations cohort for 2022. Here were my learning outcomes:

  • Understanding how to align community goals with business goals
  • Understanding how different businesses can leverage Community to meet business goals
  • Meeting community managers from various industries, and understanding how different community strategies are implemented.

I created a community launch strategy for a wellness startup at the end of the course. I worked directly with the startup's founder to determine a suitable community strategy for their wellness products.

Highlights include:

  • Creating a community strategy that is specific to the product, sector, company mission, and values.
  • Creating a community strategy that aligns with the company's Customer Journey.
