Rialto Vacations — B2B Host Dashboard

Overview

Rialto needed a professional, intuitive dashboard for property owners and hosts to manage listings, pricing, reservations, and guest messages. I redesigned the entire B2B experience with a modern, credible UI system—bringing structure, clarity, and efficiency to the tools hosts rely on daily.
The result is a polished, enterprise-grade dashboard that elevates trust, improves usability, and supports the operational needs of a growing travel marketplace.

The Challenge

Hosts were responsible for managing detailed listings, rental pricing, inbound messages, availability calendars, and guest inquiries—but the existing interface lacked:
Clear navigation hierarchy
Consistent listing management patterns
Usable messaging tools
Scalable card and form systems
A cohesive brand-aligned visual language
Mobile-friendly layouts
Managing a property felt fragmented and inefficient.
The goal was to create a structured, unified experience that made hosting easier and more reliable.

My Approach

I redesigned the dashboard with a focus on:
Information hierarchy
Clean, modular components
Consistent interaction patterns
Highly readable layouts
Clear, conversion-ready forms
Scalable design system foundations

1. Listings Management

Hosts can now create, edit, and manage listings through:
A clean step-by-step “Create Listing” flow
Structured input fields grouped by room type, amenities, pricing, and policies
High-quality image upload modules
A modern preview layout so hosts understand exactly how guests will see their listing
This design makes complex property data easy to complete and easy to trust.

2. Valuation Dashboard

Rialto provides estimated property value and earning projections.
I redesigned the valuation module to include:
Clear ROI cards
Market comparison visuals
Editable assumptions (rates, seasonality, occupancy)
Improved layout for reading multi-column data
Hosts get instant clarity on what their property is worth and how it compares in the marketplace.

3. Host Messaging

The messaging tool was rebuilt for professionalism and ease:
Clean chat layout with readable message threads
Organized inbox categories
Context cards with guest details and trip info
Quick-action messaging templates
This brings hosts a sense of structure and reliability when communicating with guests.

4. Reservation & Portal Overview

To support quick scanning and operational awareness, I introduced:
Reservation status badges
Clear timeline visualization
Occupancy overview
Financial summaries
Modern table layout with improved spacing
Hosts can understand their business performance at a glance.

5. Unified Design System

Across all pages, I built a consistent UI language:
Color-coded states
Responsive grid and spacing system
Modular card, form, table, and modal components
Clean typography hierarchy
Soft shadows and minimal depth for a premium feel
This system supports future growth across both B2B and B2C surfaces.

Impact

The new dashboard dramatically improves:
Host efficiency and clarity
Listing completion rates
Messaging workflow speed
Trust and credibility for the Rialto brand
Design system scalability across product teams
It transforms a previously fragmented interface into a polished, enterprise-ready platform for property owners.

Closing

The redesigned B2B dashboard elevates Rialto into a modern, trustworthy marketplace—giving hosts the tools they need to manage their business with confidence.
