SciTech DiploHub, the Barcelona Science and Technology Diplomacy Hub, is a pioneering nonprofit public-private partnership backed by leading research centers, universities, non-profits, startups, corporations and public institutions that positions Barcelona as a global lab in science diplomacy for cities around the world.

It has the mandate to elevate the role of science, technology and cities in foreign policy and make Barcelona a more influential player on the global stage by representing its knowledge and innovation ecosystem worldwide.

As Head of Communications and Content Creator at SciTech DiploHub I led all the communication channels from the nonprofit (Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and the website).

The year I was working for the organisation was the most successful Science and Technology Diplomacy Summer School event with more than 300 attendees from 22 countries.

Tasks:

Marketing strategist: planning a marketing strategy for each of the different events held each month.

Content Managemnt: create a content plan, create content (design, video edition) and follow it publishing content through different platforms: Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Website. Work included:

Event organiser: organized online and onsite events and my goal was to communicate them through our channels to reach the highest number of participants.

Tools: Google Ads for nonprofits, Newsletter with Mailchimp, Social media campaigns planning and execution.
