For this project, I developed an integrated platform leveraging the client’s existing Microsoft tools and accounts. The primary objective was to create an interactive hub, in record time within SharePoint, providing seamless access to various tools and regularly updated dashboards.

Scope:

🌐 Interactive Hub in SharePoint: Designed and implemented a user-friendly interface in SharePoint, allowing users to access different tools and dashboards easily.
📊 KPI Dashboards: Developed dynamic dashboards that display key performance indicators (KPIs) such as capacity, plant utilization, costs, and pricing exchange rates. These dashboards are updated in real-time.
📁Document Management Platform: Established a document management system within SharePoint for key management documents, ensuring efficient organization and easy access.
💬 Microsoft Teams Integration: Integrated the platform with Microsoft Teams to enhance communication and collaboration among team members.
📈 Power BI and Excel Integration: Utilized Power BI to create interactive reports and visualizations, providing actionable insights for the client.

Challenges and Solutions:

🔄 Data Synchronization: Ensuring real-time data synchronization across different platforms was a major challenge. This was addressed by implementing Power Automate workflows to automate data updates and synchronization.
🚀 User Adoption: Encouraging user adoption and proper utilization of the new system required comprehensive training sessions and detailed documentation.
🔒 Security and Permissions: Managing security and user permissions was critical. We implemented a robust permission structure within SharePoint to ensure data security and proper access control.

Outcome:

The project successfully delivered a centralized, interactive hub that streamlined access to essential tools and company information. The client experienced improved operational efficiency, better data-driven decision-making, and enhanced collaboration across teams. The KPI dashboards provided real-time insights, significantly aiding in performance tracking and strategic planning.
