Spect is a browser-based tool developed for Green IT Solution – giving customers full visibility into every step of the refurbishment, data deletion and hardware destruction process.

The interface is designed to make complexity manageable. Whether handling five devices or five thousand, users can instantly check statuses, spot patterns, and stay in control – thanks to clear structures and intuitive data visualisations.

As a sales-relevant product, Spect received its own sub-brand identity within the Green IT ecosystem. The name merges Specht (German for woodpecker) with spectate and inspect – a nod to the app’s purpose: observe, maintain, repair. The figurative mark picks up on this idea with a stylised woodpecker – the forest’s craftsman.

In addition to concept and design, we also developed the Angular-based UI components and documented them in Storybook – ensuring a consistent and scalable experience from backend to button.
