Harbor Trade is a digital platform designed for small and medium-sized import/export businesses. It integrates port operations management, cargo tracking, and contracts into a single system. The goal was to simplify complex logistics flows, reduce rework, and increase predictability for all stakeholders involved.

Foreign trade companies handle scattered information across spreadsheets, emails, and multiple tracking systems, causing delays, lack of visibility, and communication failures. The challenge was to transform this fragmented scenario into a centralized, user-friendly digital solution integrated with reliable APIs.

📌 Process

We interviewed port operators, brokers, and managers to map critical bottlenecks, rework points, and expectations. Sensitive flows were identified, such as document validation and cargo status updates.

Using the insights, we structured an information architecture that connects dynamic dashboards, automatic alerts, and contract management. The focus was to reduce friction, increase stakeholder trust, and enable real-time tracking.

The design prioritized visual clarity for dense data using strong typographic hierarchy, clear status colors, and reusable components. We created a consistent design system and clickable prototypes tested for smooth experience.

We built a high-fidelity prototype in Figma with full documentation for handoff. API integrations were specified for tracking systems and contract databases, detailing flows to reduce operational errors.
