Flexlink Solutions – Energy Management Dashboard is the world’s first renewable energy management dashboard, designed to serve industries and operations throughout Norway. With a modular and intuitive design, the platform centralizes data from multiple sources, turning complex workflows into clear, actionable insights. Dynamic cards, custom filters, and automated alerts help operations, IT, and management teams reduce waste and boost energy efficiency. By consolidating systems and visualizing key metrics in real time, the solution brings more confidence and agility to strategic decisions while streamlining repetitive tasks.

Norway, despite being a global leader in renewable energy, still faces the challenge of making its energy transition even more efficient, especially during peak hours when consumption spikes and managing supply becomes more complex. This created the need for a solution that would help industries and operations precisely identify waste, find opportunities to save, and trade energy more flexibly on the market. The project was designed to meet this demand by connecting different sectors and systems, removing information bottlenecks, and supporting strategic decisions that balance consumption, supply, and sustainability.

During the transition to a 100% renewable matrix, companies across Norway face challenges consolidating consumption data from different systems, monitoring peak-time inefficiencies, and spotting opportunities to trade energy on the market. The main challenge was to build a flexible SaaS solution that automates workflows, integrates real-time data, and offers customizable dashboards, empowering teams to make strategic decisions without overwhelming the end user.

We mapped key pain points for operations, IT, and management teams. Interviews with key users revealed manual workflows and repetitive steps. We analyzed BPM and RPA competitors to identify differentiators.

We designed a modular architecture to let companies customize workflows based on business rules. Defined dynamic dashboards, block-based configurable automations, and API integrations with ERP/CRM systems.

Combined a clean interface with high information density. Used neutral colors with highlights for statuses/alerts. Each workflow is shown in visual cards with real-time progress. Clickable prototypes were tested for final refinements.

Produced a medium-fidelity prototype in Figma with documented components and responsive guidelines. Defined technical integration points and documentation to scale future automations.

Conducted tests with analysts and IT managers, simulating real approval and automation flows. Feedback helped refine filters, labels, and alerts.
