A web design studio's own website has a job to do: explain what it offers, show the kind of work it does, and make it easy for potential clients to take the next step.
Nayus Creative is my own web design studio, focused on WordPress websites, ecommerce, and Figma-to-WordPress development. I designed and built the website myself, using the project as an opportunity to bring the studio's services and work together in one clear experience.
What I wanted to get right
I didn't want the website to make visitors work to understand the business. Someone looking for a website designer should be able to land on the site, understand the services, explore the work, and find a way to get in touch without navigating through unnecessary complexity.
That meant keeping the structure focused on what matters most to a potential client: what the studio does, what it can deliver, and how to start a conversation.
Designing around the services
I built the website around three core areas: WordPress website design, ecommerce websites, and Figma-to-WordPress development.
The visual direction is clean and restrained, giving the content room to breathe. Rather than crowding the page with competing elements, I focused on presenting the services in a way that makes the studio's offering easy to scan and understand.
Making the services easy to explore
The services section gives each part of the studio's offering a clear place on the website. Visitors can get a sense of the work involved and identify the service most relevant to their needs without having to search through unrelated information.
Letting the work speak
The portfolio section provides a way for visitors to move beyond service descriptions and explore the studio's work. It helps connect what Nayus Creative offers with the kind of website projects potential clients can expect to see.
From design to development
I handled the project end to end, from structuring the pages and designing the interface to building the responsive website in WordPress using Elementor and the Astra theme.
This also meant working within the same practical considerations I account for in client projects: keeping the site clear, making the content easy to manage, and ensuring the experience holds together across screen sizes.
Built with: WordPress, Elementor, and Astra.
The outcome
Nayus Creative now has a dedicated online home for its services and portfolio. More than a place to describe what the studio does, the website serves as a working example of its approach to web design and development.
