Brand Identity for 'Girls Need Drip Too' Event

Grace

Grace Isabelle

"Girls Need Drip Too" is a beauty and empowerment event that challenges traditional beauty standards through an empowering lens. The event aims to bring together powerful women around the theme of self-esteem. The concept merges glamour with strength, creating a space where makeup and strength, beauty and power coexist and complement each other.

OUTCOMES

Establishes a recognizable brand for a first-time event.
Creates materials that attract the target audience and communicates the event's unique positioning.
Provides a flexible system that works across digital and physical applications.
Supports the event's mission of empowerment through thoughtful design choices.

LOGO

The logo embodies the event's characteristics: behind the pink, eyeliner, false nails, and 2000s bling aesthetic lies a commitment to inclusivity and body positivity. Drawing inspiration from hip-hop and streetwear culture, the design represents the fusion of sweat and makeup: strength meets beauty.

PHOTOGRAPHY DIRECTION

I established photography guidelines centered on:
Body-focused imagery with close-ups and detailed framing
Fashion magazine-inspired aesthetic with prominent flash
Sports advertising visual references
Consistent pink and green color treatments
Inclusive representation of diverse body types
