The will to see the world

During discovery, we learned that for many people, travel ends up feeling like a mish-mash of incomplete experiences. They don’t want to travel like a tourist, but to be a part of the place they visit. For others, there is a sense of security that modern accommodations struggle to provide.
Many would engage in a Premium program that assured them what they missed in other trips would now be standard. What was step 1?

The fastest way to reach a dream place

Nobody would blame us if we felt a little skeptical about bookings. Clunky websites struggle to engage the person on the other end in the planning process.
I designed an intuitive flow and provided feedback at each step- through steppers, and meaningful pauses that help the client reflect and build anticipation.

Focus on the essentials

We followed a very minimalist approach. Each screen shows the minimum required to progress. With no distractions, clients can focus on what matters: the journey.
The only screens where complexity factored in more heavily were the date selection ones, where we had to consider that for some like digital entrepreneurs, flexibility was more important than anything else.

An inclusive approach

At the beginning of the project, it was estimated that only 13% of people were going to travel solo.
For them, leaving the Guest number at 1 as default was preferable. For all others, it’s easy to increase the number of family members with just an extra step. And yes- pets are part of the family as well.
