We designed the profile cards of like-minded travelers looking for an authentic home exchange experience.

Swipe to book
Our unique product feature is the ability to swipe on “home profiles” to find a good home to live in during a vacation or a tour. This central idea drove the design until the completion of the project.
How did we make sure our clients booked the right homes? Firstly, we needed to look at who they were.
Homes for humans
In addition to swiping on homes, clients who want to host others can swipe on travelers' profiles.
Hosts are incentivized with a point system to host and with substantial savings to exchange homes.
Travelers interested in maximizing the efficiency of their profiles can do so by uploading high-quality pictures of themselves and setting up exact trip dates.
Highlight what matters
We used FigJam templates to organize our discovery findings. Our priority was to convey safety, affordability, and clarity.
I designed a system of tags that communicate clearly, using simple language, that a home fits the trip goals of the client. These trip goals can be configured before swiping, but the app will also make thoughtful suggestions based on interests.
Don’t stop at the first impression
We knew how much the first impression matters. But for any trip to be great, our clients were interested in more than surface details.
When scrolling down the profile of each home, we find out what hides behind the curtain: a host’s vivacious personality, the right amenities, the open dates, and even travel indications.
